The Rajasthan Royals played on Saturday at the Wankhede Stadium here on the strength of their bowlers’ fine performances led by star all-rounder Chris Maurice (24/4) and then the restrained game of the batsmen led by captain Sanju Samson (42 not out). Dubey was out for 22 off 18 balls. He was caught by Varun at the hands of the famous Krishna. Rahul Tewatia could not do anything special and was dismissed for 5 runs off 8 balls. He was famously caught by Nagerkoti.

For Kolkata, Rahul Tripathi scored the highest 34 runs while Dinesh Karthik got 25 runs off the bat. Apart from this, Nitish Rana scored 22 runs. Jaydev Unadkat, Chetan Sakariya and Mustafizur Rahman had one success each for Rajasthan apart from Maurice. Kolkata did not have a good start. He lost the wicket of his opener Shubman Gill (11) on a total of 24 runs. Gill was run out by Jos Buttler. Nitish Rana (22) was playing well but with a total of 45, Chetan Sakaria made his team’s second success by getting caught by captain Sanju Samson.
Rana hit a four and a six off 25 balls. Sunil Narayan (6) came up for batting but he could not do anything special and was dismissed by Jaydev Unadkat for a total of 54. On the total of 61, Chris Maurice gave the fourth blow to Kolkata by running out captain Eoin Morgan (0). Kolkata lost the next five wickets for just 40 runs. It also includes wickets of Rahul Tripathi and Dinesh Karthik. Rahul faced 26 balls with one four and two sixes. Former captain Karthik faced 24 balls and hit four fours. Pat Cummins also got 10 runs off the bat.
