Fuel prices vary from state to state due to Value Added Tax (VAT) and freight charges. After this price hike, the price of petrol has crossed Rs 100 per liter in Rampur in Uttar Pradesh, Kanker, Jashpur and Narayanpur districts of Chhattisgarh, besides Kohima in Nagaland.
