Sunrisers Hyderabad, who could not serve in the opening matches because of unfit batsman like Kane Williamson, are seen as another big setback. The team’s fast bowler T Natarajan is almost certain to be out of the 14th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) due to a knee injury. The 30-year-old Natarajan has played two matches this season, while missing out on two.
Natarajan, who surprised the Giants with his yorker last season, played only two of 4 matches this season. Fans did not like his stay out of the team too. Fans raised questions on social media. However, it is later revealed that he is not fully fit. He played the last match against KKR on 11 April.
If sources are to be believed, the BCCI may soon ask Sunrisers Hyderabad to release them. In such a situation, it will prove to be a big setback for the team, as the franchise has high expectations from this fast bowler.
What does Warner have to say?
Sunrisers Hyderabad captain David Warner gave a statement on T Natarajan’s injury after the victory over Punjab Kings. He said- If Natarajan goes out of bio bubble and gets scanned at this time, then he will have to be quarantine for 7 days. The medical team is keeping an eye on the injury. Physicians are trying their best, but they will have to go and scan at some point.
