The hospitals in UP have been affected, the Minister of Medicine said – oxygen is surplus in Lucknow, not a single death occurred due to lack of it.

Lucknow
Lack of oxygen in Uttar Pradesh has created a panic among the patients of Corona, but the medical minister of the Yogi Adityanath government Suresh Khanna Says that there is no lack of oxygen in the capital Lucknow. He claimed that due to lack of oxygen two days ago there was a problem, but now more than enough oxygen is available in the state. He also made a shocking claim that no one has died due to lack of oxygen in Lucknow.

The minister said these
things on Friday. He informed that the central government has allocated a quota of 750 metric tonnes of oxygen to the state. However, contrary to the claims of the minister, for the past several days, many cities of the state, including the capital Lucknow, have been depressed due to lack of oxygen. Patients have been evicted from the hospital after the oxygen runs out. During this time, patients were asked to leave the hospital by writing notices in several hospitals in Lucknow, Kanpur, Agra and Sultanpur.

Oxygen created in the capital
The minister of the Yogi government, especially in the capital Lucknow, has never claimed to be short of oxygen. He also said that there was no death due to lack of oxygen in the capital. However, the truth is quite the opposite. According to media reports, 6 patients died of oxygen deficiency at different hospitals in Lucknow on Thursday. The relatives of these patients continued to plead with the government and authorities for oxygen, but to no avail. The depletion of oxygen has led many hospitals to refuse to admit patients.

The Integral University of Lucknow had written a letter to the university administration on Thursday informing about the lack of oxygen. It was written in the letter that now only two hours of backup is left for the treatment of patients. It was told that at present, 120 patients at Integral University were being treated on oxygen support. At the same time, on Friday, the Managing Director of Awadh Hospital also complained that the load of patients in the hospital is increasing and there is a huge shortage of oxygen and beds.

5 deaths due to lack of oxygen in Aligarh
Not only in Lucknow, other cities of UP also have the same situation. In the past, 5 Corona patients lost their lives due to lack of oxygen in SJD Hospital in Aligarh. The five patients were senior citizens. The family alleged that the patients could have saved their lives if they had got oxygen on time. However, the hospital has denied this allegation. He said that the lungs of the patients who died, had worsened.

Four patients died in Kannauj
Apart from Aligarh, four patients admitted to medical college in Kannauj died on Wednesday due to lack of oxygen. It is alleged that this happened due to the sudden closure of the oxygen plant at night. After the death of four Corona-infected patients due to lack of oxygen, the responsibilities of the sleepers woke up, after which the Medical College provided 80 cylinders for oxygen.
