On this day (May 30) in the IPL, a few years ago, Virender Sehwag and Shane Watson played stormy innings for their respective teams. Seven years ago Sehwag played for Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings), scoring an innings of 122 runs and leading the team to the final for the first time.

Six years before Sehwag’s innings, in 2008, Watson scored 52 off 29 balls against the Delhi franchise in the first semi-final match while playing for the Rajasthan Royals. On the basis of Watson’s innings, Rajasthan had scored 192 runs in 20 overs. In the bowling after batting, Watson had taken three wickets for 10 runs, on which Rajasthan stumped Delhi for 87 and won by 105 runs.
