Tomorrow between 5:30 to 6:30 pm, the new ministers of the Modi cabinet will take oath! Young faces will get a chance

Digital Desk, New Delhi. The much-awaited expansion of the Union Cabinet is expected on July 7. According to sources, the minister will take oath between 5:30 pm and 6:30 pm. Several leaders to be inducted into the cabinet have started arriving in the national capital. There is speculation about the inclusion of many senior leaders like former Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, Jyotiraditya Scindia, RCP Singh in the cabinet.

It is also believed that BJP allies like JD(U) and Apna Dal may also get representation in the cabinet. Several posts in the cabinet are vacant due to the exit of Shiv Sena and Shiromani Akali Dal and the death of Ram Vilas Paswan of Lok Janshakti Party. Since the past few weeks, PM Modi has been meeting with Union ministers in groups, with BJP President JP Nadda also in the process of reviewing their work and taking feedback.

28 ministers vacant in Modi cabinet
At present, 28 ministers are vacant in the Modi cabinet. Elections are to be held in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Goa, Manipur, Himachal, Gujarat in 2021-22. It is expected that at least one face from the electoral states will definitely be included in the Modi cabinet. At present, Hardeep Puri, Narendra Singh Tomar, Dharmendra Pradhan, Ravi Shankar Prasad and Smriti Irani have more than one ministry. In such a situation, most of the new faces will get the portfolios of these ministers.

To whom can the oath be administered?
Brijraj Singh from Haryana, Sonowal from Assam, Jyotiraditya Scindia from Madhya Pradesh, former Chief Minister Narayan Rane from Maharashtra, Bhupendra Yadav from Rajasthan, Anupriya Patel from Uttar Pradesh and Pashupati Paras from Bihar. Apart from him, Jyotiraditya Scindia from Madhya Pradesh and BJP MP from Odisha and former IAS Ashwini Vaishnav can be made ministers.
