Aam Aadmi Party UP spokesperson Vaibhav Maheshwari told NBT Online, ‘Aam Aadmi Party has had a great debut in Uttar Pradesh. Earlier people were saying that apart from caste and religion politics in Uttar Pradesh, nothing can go on. But by making the Aam Aadmi Party-backed candidates victorious, the people have proved that if they come up with good options, talk about electricity, water, health and education, then they are ready to adopt them.

‘Pradhan, BDC, won 350+ seats of Zilla Panchayat’
Aam Aadmi Party spokesperson Vaibhav Maheshwari told NBT Online, ‘In the panchayat elections, there are about 350 candidates supported by our party right now, which is a good number. More than 90 candidates have won in the district panchayat. More than 250 candidates have won the Gram Pradhan and BDC seats. Let us tell that the Samajwadi Party is at the forefront of the results of the Zilla Panchayat. SP supported 790 candidates. There are 599 BJP-backed candidates. Others and independents won the highest number of 1247 seats. Apart from this, BSP 354 and Congress-backed 60 candidates have won.

Won 1-1 seat of Zilla Panchayat in Varanasi-Gorakhpur
The Aam Aadmi Party has won in Ward 61 of Gorakhpur District Panchayat. Kodai Nishad, the party’s candidate, has emerged victorious. The party has also won a seat of Zilla Panchayat in Varanasi, PM Modi’s parliamentary constituency. At the same time, the party has won three seats of Zilla Panchayat in Shravasti district of Awadh area. Apart from this, in districts like Bijnor, Amroha and Pratapgarh, the party has won one or two seats. Aamib Chaudhary, Aam Aadmi Party-backed candidate, has won from ward number 21 of Amroha Zilla Panchayat.

Many candidates won from east to west
Along with this, Aam Aadmi Party-backed candidate Ishpal Sagar won from 2567 votes from ward number -35 Madanpur I of Shahjahanpur District Panchayat. On the other hand, Aam Aadmi Party-backed Lakhvir Singh won from Rampur’s ward number-1 with 7700 votes. Aam Aadmi Party-backed Dinanath Yadav won from 330 votes from Prayagraj’s ward number 32 Phulpur IV. Party supported Amresh Singh Rangile from ward number 70 of Jaunpur district panchayat won by 4650 votes. On the other hand, Aam Aadmi Party-backed Mohan Lal has won from ward number 18 of Sitapur.

If elections are conducted in the state with honesty, then BJP’s sweep will be clear.
