- Corona test forgery surfaced in Tehri, Uttarakhand
- After Kumbh, now Tehri also played in Kovid test sample
- The health team sent the message only after taking the number, did not even take the sample
During this year’s Kumbh Mela in Uttarakhand, the investigation of Corona Testing fraud is still going on. Meanwhile, another case of fake Kovid testing has come to the fore in Tehri. Here the Health Department team sent a confirmation message without taking the sample.
Chandi Prasad Dabral, a resident of Kanatal in Tehri, was on his way towards Chamba on Friday. On the way, the health department officials stopped him and took his contact number for rapid antigen test. According to Dabral, without taking the sample, he got an SMS that the sample had been taken.
According to Dabral, his sample was never taken for examination. He has filed a case after receiving the SMS. Now the investigation of this matter has started. For the details of each sample collected on that day, information is being collected by calling mobile numbers.
On this matter, CMO Dr Sanjay Jain said, ‘The health team first took the contact details and then collected the sample. The complainant’s family went ahead without a test. And then he got a message from the automatic number. I have asked the officials to inquire about it.
Dabral told the Times of India, our associate newspaper, ‘The question is how my ID was generated without taking a sample. Maybe this has been done to other people before. This is how the virus spreads.
On the other hand, Dr Pukhraj Chauhan, in-charge of Chamba Community Health Center said, ‘We are collecting information by calling the numbers noted in the last two weeks. We will also check whether the staff deployed in the field is negligent.
