Following the defeat against Punjab Kings in the 26th match of the 14th season of IPL, Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli has indicated that the team will enter the next match with some changes.
Punjab beat Royal Challengers Bangalore by 34 runs in the 26th match of the 14th season of the IPL played at the Narendra Modi Stadium here, thanks to Harpreet Brar’s superb bowling after a brilliant innings by captain Lokesh Rahul (91 not out).
Kohli said after the match, ‘After his good start, we came back with 5 wickets.
Finally gave more runs. We wanted to chase 160. We could not put a big partnership in batting. In the next match, some changes will have to be made. The combination of the team is such that they are sending Rajat to bat at number 3. Rajat is a good batter, today was not his day.
He said, ‘We gave 25 more runs to KL. One wicket would have stopped the rung, but we were not able to do that. Losing 60-65 runs would have made a lot of difference. But in the end Harshal and Jameson scored important runs.
