After the last phase of voting in West Bengal, all news channels and agencies issued exit polls. Most exit polls predicted the return of TMC chief Mamata Banerjee to Bengal. On the other hand, the exit poll results for the Congress are not too thrilling, as according to the poll, the party is not going to perform well except Tamil Nadu. Reacting to the exit poll, Congress leader and former foreign minister Salman Khurshid said, “The prediction of exit poll in West Bengal is as expected”.
