Bankipur Adda will be shifted to Bairiya
Presently the Patliputra Interstate Bus Terminal has 9 acres of land. In this sense, after the Mithapur bus stand is shifted here, there will be no space left here. The district administration is preparing to acquire more land in Bairia and also shift the Bankipur bus stand here. However it will take some time to complete it. Shifting of both the big bus stands outside the city to Bairia will help to a great extent in getting the Patna city free from jam.

District administration officials said that there is a plan to acquire a total of 25 acres of land in Bairia. This includes 15 acres in the first phase and 10 acres in the second phase. Buses are currently operating for Jehanabad and Gaya from the new bus terminal. Buses of Nalanda, Nawada, Sheikhpura and Jamui districts will operate from June 15. Buses of the remaining districts and other states will operate from July 15.
