Will Congress change chief minister in Chhattisgarh? Baghel said – ready if the high command says

Is the Congress party going to remove Bhupesh Baghel from the post of Chief Minister in Chhattisgarh? Baghel, who arrived in Delhi amid speculation, has said that if the High Command wants to make someone else the Chief Minister, then he is ready for it. Baghel, who came out after the meeting at 10 Janpath, said he had taken oath only at the behest of the high command and was ready to step down if asked from the top level. However, he also said that he did not meet Sonia Gandhi but with General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi.

On speculation about the condition of being made chief minister for two and a half years, Baghel said, “The high command had asked me to take oath (chief minister’s post), so I took it. When they say that someone else will become the chief minister, it will be so. Such agreements (two-and-a-half years CM) happen in a coalition government.” Talking to reporters outside 10 Janpath, he also said that he is ready to take responsibility in the upcoming assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh next year.

Baghel said, “The Congress has a two-thirds majority in Chhattisgarh. I met Priyanka Gandhi ji, now I have to meet PL Punia ji. If the high command gives me the responsibility in the coming UP elections, then I am ready for it.”

Poonia said, “As Baghel ji also clarified, there is no such formula. There is no talk of such a formula as the Congress party has a three-fourth majority. Such things happen in coalition government. The government in Chhattisgarh is running with three-fourth majority.
