Wrestler Sagar Rana Murder Case: Wrestler Sushil Kumar accused of murder in trouble, Delhi Police demands extension of remand

New Delhi
The Rohini court reserved the verdict on the extension of police remand of Olympian Sushil Kumar, accused of killing young wrestler Sagar Rana. Delhi Police on Wednesday produced Sushil in Rohini court and sought extension of his remand for three days. Kumar’s counsel opposed the demand for remand. It was argued that no such ground was given for which the

court should accept the demand of the police and send the accused on remand. Advocate Pradeep Rana requested the court that Kumar be sent to judicial custody and also kept in a separate cell in the jail, as several gangs are said to be involved in the case, and their people may be in jail.

In this case, a day before the Delhi Police has suspended the license of his arms.
